Notable People News Wire
We would like to thank our newest Signers - Timothy Richardson, Stanton Bell, Steven Kershaw, and Heather Thornton!

There are nearly one million people in jail in the United States for non-violent activities related to the use, possession, cultivation, transportation or sale of marijuana. The purpose of this site is to make available a place for everyone who supports the idea of Nojailforpot to sign his or her name, and make it proudly public for everyone to see. The people below have taken the significant step of putting their names to this important declaration, for all the country to see.

Sick and tired of the war on marijuana while our politicians continually defend alcohol and tobacco.

The last Surgeon General thought marijuana was less harmful than alcohol. Who is a politician to argue with a doctor with those credentials? I do not use any drugs and I regularly am required to submit to urine tests. I do however believe in decriminalization of marijuana.

der of Peter McWilliams works, my heart is heavy with his loss. May God show more mercy on those that took his life, than they did Peter.

I don't believe in having to be afraid of my daughter being taken away, just because I like to relax when she goes to her grandparents. My idea of relaxation may be different from some people's but that is no reason for me, or anybody, to go to jail or be seen as a bad parent or criminal. I also don't appreciate the government wasting lots of money on something that isn't a crime, when there are so many other things it could be used for. So I'm prepared to stand up for my rights! because NON-VIOLENT PROTEST WORKS!!
